Hi All,
The Global Change Master Directory metadata portal for our EBM Pilot
Projects is now live:
http://gcmd.nasa.gov/portals/ebm/

There are currently 80 records listed, which I selected from the Gulf
of Maine Ocean Data Partnership portal
(http://gcmd.nasa.gov/KeywordSearch/Home.do?Portal=gomodp&MetadataType=0).
 I selected these because they either reference data that are easily
accessible, or because they describe data I judged relevant for our
effort.

My hope and expectation is we will be adding many more records to this
portal.  I suspect many relevant records are already available through
GCMD, we just need to cross list them on this new portal.  For
example, some records currently listed on the OBIS portal
(http://gcmd.nasa.gov/KeywordSearch/Home.do?Portal=OBIS&MetadataType=0)
should also be listed on our new portal.  Perhaps Pat Halpin can help
with this effort by identifying records he has listed on GCMD that
should also be available on this new portal?  In addition, I hope some
data providers who have not posted metadata records will now be
inspired to do so.  Posting metadata records is easy using the
existing authoring tools (http://gcmd.nasa.gov/User/authoring.html).

Finally, I hope the Goal Setting and Modeling Work Groups will help us
identify relevant data.
