Fifth annual Fishtival is Saturday

September 12, 2013

The fun, informative and flavorful fifth annual N.H. Fish and Lobster Festival, known locally as “Fishtival,” returns on Saturday, Sept. 14, in Prescott Park, Portsmouth, from noon to 4 p.m. This year, the local, grassroots festival is a milestone in launching Slow Food’s international “Slow Fish” campaign, which ties together like-minded, small-small boat fishing communities from around the globe where people value artisanal fishing, neglected fish species, and the state of the sea’s resources.
