Environment Canada. The Atlantic Region of Canada: An Ecological Perspective. March 1984. 28 pp.

In March 1984 the Lands and Integrated Programs Directorate published this report as one in a series to help assist government land managers and decision makers. This report was created specifically to demonstrate the problems, issues and development of land uses in the Atlantic region of Canada. To achieve this purpose, this report describes the ecological setting of the region, including information on the evolution of the landscape and an ecological land survey. The report also focuses on the ecoregions of theAtlantic region, providing a physiographic background on each and comparative descriptions of the ecoregions.
