Hunter and Associates. Fundy Coastal Zone Study. 287 pp.

Between 1972 and 1975 a coastal zone management study took place in regards to the east coast of New Brunswick. The study outlined in this resource was initiated in September 1978 and attempts to integrate and add to the previous study. The results of the report are contained within five topic areas: coastal process, marine and terrestrial resources, coastal land use, beach quarry activities and coastal zone management. Contained within the topic of coastal process is information on physical oceanography, coastal morphology, coastal erosion and recession, and the sediment system. Within the marine and terrestrial resources category is information on geology, vegetation, and wildlife. In the coastal land use section there is a historical setting and present setting, which focus on population, tourism, forestry, agriculture, industry and fisheries. The last section on coastal zone management addresses marine, beach and terrestrial management.
