Greetings & welcome to this web-site

Survey

Hello and thank-you for taking a few minutes to complete the survey. We are seeking your advice on which coastal and marine indicators should be developed to help scientists, environmental managers, and citizens better understand and more effectively communicate the northeast region’s leading coastal and marine management issues.

Context

Local, state/provincial and federal environmental managers, policy-makers, and members of the public are working to improve the condition of the coastal and marine environment.  To assist in communicating the status of the environment, the Northeast Coastal Indicators Workshop will be preparing a series of suggested environmental, social, and economic indicators that are useful in answering questions on the regions resources.  These will be disused at a workshop in Durham NH on January 6-8, 2004.  We need your help to ensure that the indicators we discuss meet your needs.
