The Working Group oversees Committee activities
The Council’s Working Group includes one representative for each state, provincial, and federal Council member, as well as Canadian and U.S. co-chairs from each of the Council’s Committees. The Working Group meets quarterly, and its functions include:
- Developing annual work programs and budgets for Council activities
- Overseeing Committee operations and approving work plans
- Conducting strategic planning
- Preparing policy options for the Council’s consideration
