The Gulf of Maine Council supports cooperation among parties interested in the watershed, coastal, and marine waters of the Gulf of Maine. The NGO Directory is intended as a tool for use by people in the region to locate and communicate with others. The data in the system is for the sole use of the Council and is not provided to any other systems for any reason. Each organization's information is password protected and individually selected for presentation on the Internet. An administrative function allows a limited number of Gulf of Maine Council administrators to update information in the system.
