The 13th International Interdisciplinary Conference on the Environment, will be held in Portland, Maine. The Interdisciplinary Environmental Association's conference is being motivated by the increasing need to combine ideas and research findings from different disciplines to better understand the interactions between the natural environment and human institutions. Presentations will focus on what all disciplines have to offer in understanding environmental and resource problems, possible solutions, and the implications of the globalization of environmental concerns. The International Congress of Toxicology will be held in Montreal, Canada. The Ocean Carbon and Biogeochemistry Summer 2007 Science workshop is in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
