In addition to the resources here, visit the NExUS database (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.neclimateus.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.neclimateus.org<\/a>) to do geographic or topical searches of climate-related studies, adaptation plans and action plans from the Gulf of Maine region and beyond. A fact sheet with more\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gulfofmaine.org\/2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/NExUS-factsheet-FINAL.pdf\">details about NExUS is available here (PDF, &lt; 1 mb)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Climate-related Informational Databases and Resource Sites<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NOAA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/coast.noaa.gov\/digitalcoast\/topics\/climate-adaptation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coastal Climate Adaptation website<\/a> has a variety of guidebooks available for download as well as outreach materials related to coastal climate change adaptation.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncdc.noaa.gov\/rcsd\/eastern\">NOAA\u2019s Regional Climate Services Directors (RCSD), Eastern Region<\/a> page, which has information on regional partnerships, datasets and tools to support decision-making.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cakex.org\/\">Climate Adaptation Knowledge Exchange<\/a> has an extensive library containing case studies, adaptation plans and strategies and reports relevant to climate change adaptation.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.georgetownclimate.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgetown Climate Center<\/a> has an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.georgetownclimate.org\/adaptation\/clearinghouse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">adaption clearinghouse<\/a> that provides federal state and local policy information on a number of impacts areas and sectors.<a href=\"http:\/\/stormsmart.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">StormSmart Coasts<\/a> has tools and resources for coastal communities to address current and future storm and flooding threats.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mass.gov\/eea\/agencies\/czm\/program-areas\/stormsmart-coasts\/stormsmart-properties\/\">StormSmart Properties<\/a> provides effective means to reduce erosion while minimizing impacts to shoreline systems.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/crwu\">Creating Resilient Water Utilities<\/a> has a variety of information and tools to help those in the drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater fields to adapt to climate change.<\/li>\n<li>ICLEI\u2019s Climate Resilient Communities Program has a guidebook called <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cses.washington.edu\/db\/pdf\/snoveretalgb574.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Preparing for <\/a><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cses.washington.edu\/db\/pdf\/snoveretalgb574.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;\">Climate Change: A Guidebook for Local, Regional and State Governments<\/span><\/em><\/a> as well as a tool called the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icleiusa.org\/tools\/adapt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adaptation Database and Planning Tool<\/a> (ADAPT) that will take you through the whole process.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neracoos.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northeastern Regional Association of Coastal Ocean Observing Systems (NERACOOS)<\/a> provides real-time and historical ocean and atmospheric conditions and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neracoos.org\/datatools\/climatologies_display\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tool<\/a> for looking at conditions relative to climatological expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Interactive Maps, Models and Tools<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/coast.noaa.gov\/digitalcoast\/tools\/slr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NOAA\u2019s Sea-Level Rise Viewer<\/a> (US only) offers the capacity to depict potential future sea levels along coastlines, providing a zoom function to center in on targeted areas and a slider to illustrate inundation with 1-, 3- and 6-foot increases in sea level.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.granit.unh.edu\/nhcoastalviewer\/\">New Hampshire\u2019s Coastal Viewer<\/a> (NH only): This tool provides Seacoast New Hampshire communities with data to help visualize areas most vulnerable to coastal hazards.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.granit.unh.edu\/nhcoastalviewer\/\">See for more details.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.maine.gov\/dacf\/mgs\/hazards\/slosh\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maine Geological Survey Potential Hurricane Inundation Map<\/a> (Maine only) shows mean and high tide inundation extent for Category 1 through 4 hurricanes.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acasamaps.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Brunswick Climate Futures<\/a> offers maps and explanatory text to explore potential climate changes up to the year 2100.<\/li>\n<li>The University of Maine\u2019s Climate Change Institute provides a &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/cci-reanalyzer.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Climate Reanalyzer<\/a>&#8221;
