The panel offers peer-review of papers, reports and activities, and will produce an annual communiqu\u00e9 to governments and the general public on the state of climate change adaptation science and policy.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Adam Fenech, who serves on the Gulf of Maine <a href=\"\/2\/climate-network-about-the-climate-network\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Council Climate Network subcommittee<\/a>, chairs the Expert Panel and directs UPEI\u2019s Climate Research Lab. \u201cThe Atlantic Region is already witnessing climate changes affecting its fisheries, agriculture, tourism and natural environment.
